Inpatient Rehab For Drug And Alcohol Addiction
Inpatient rehab is a program designed for people who want to take back control of their lives. It’s a chance for the patient to focus on themselves without any interruptions. People should view rehab as a place of safety and a place for healing – that is exactly what Daylight Recovery Center’s inpatient rehab program is, a place of serenity. We understand that when a person picks up the phone to ask for help, this is their “moment of clarity”. Often, something significant has occurred in one’s life to trigger a person to want to make a change. Losing a job, divorce, DUI, arrest or losing custody of a child are just a few factors that often prompt someone who is suffering from alcoholism or a drug addiction to want to make a change.
The Challenge of Resolving Drug and Alcohol Dependence
Whether you’ve lost your job, are doing poorly in school or experiencing relationship problems due to substance abuse, we’re here to help you.
First and foremost, we are a judgement-free zone. At Daylight Recovery Center, we applaud those who are brave enough to stand up and recognize they are struggling with a drug and/or alcohol dependency. It may not sound like much, however, it is a huge step in the right direction. Anyone who has battled addiction, or is close to someone who has, knows how large of a leap one must take in order to admit that they are suffering from addiction. To put it into perspective, many people are too ashamed to admit the truth, and end up suffering in silence for an entire lifetime. This is incredibly sad and tragic.
Addiction is a disease that typically requires medical intervention to provide safe and effective care for the person suffering from the disease. Without proper supervision from a licensed medical professional in an inpatient rehab-setting, those going through withdrawal symptoms run the risk of many uncomfortable and possibly dangerous side effects, including seizures.
The Role of Inpatient Rehab in Polydrug Abuse
While it may sound overwhelming, inpatient rehab is the most effective way to get someone onto the path to recovery. Leaving the problem untreated poses greater risks, including overdose and death. We always recommend doing your research prior to selecting a substance abuse treatment center as treatment plans will vary depending on the facility. Many wonder if inpatient rehab is necessary, especially when they see that outpatient rehab is an option at many facilities. While we do not disagree with the many benefits that outpatient rehab offers, inpatient rehab (residential rehab) is designed for people with drug or alcohol addictions. Polydrug abusers, when a person consumes more than one drug at once, will benefit significantly from a residential rehab setting. This is because residing where you are receiving your inpatient rehab rids you of temptations and other outside stimulus that you would face if you opted for outpatient rehab and allows you to focus on yourself.
Inpatient rehab is the ideal choice for treating addictions, especially during the early stages of recovery. Residential rehab provides patients with 24-hour care in a safe and comfortable environment. Patients can rest easy knowing that they are never alone while they’re working towards overcoming their addiction. Patients who suffer from other mental health conditions will also benefit greatly from inpatient rehab programs since they have access to medical attention 24-hours a day. If a patient is going through a particularly difficult moment during their treatment, they can count on our kind and compassionate medical team to be there when they need it most. Inpatient rehab is highly structured in order to benefit the patient. Most patients appreciate the intensity of residential treatment as it is proven to be highly effective.
At Daylight Recovery Center, we believe that a successful treatment plan involves a combination of inpatient and outpatient rehab. In the early stages of treatment, we recommend inpatient rehab for our patients to receive 24/7 round the clock care. People in inpatient rehab programs are more likely to participate in treatments such as therapy and counseling as these activities take place where the patient is staying at the time.
Daylight Recovery Center’s inpatient rehab program is unlike other substance abuse facilities across the nation. We provide a safe, quiet and soothing environment for our patients to maximize the benefits they receive during their stay with us. Rehab is a place for healing so it’s imperative to provide a warm and compassionate environment where our patients feel comfortable. It’s not unusual for people to be hesitant to the idea of living at a center while they undergo rehab, but it’s important to emphasize that in order to gain the full benefits of a rehab program, one must put 100 percent of their time and effort into the healing process. We do our best to help patients feel at home by providing a personal infotainment tablet that has resoures and entertainment readily available. Our recreational room is full of a variety of books, and games that promote creating healthy relationships with others and bonding. Our partnerships enable us to provide even more activities for our patients. Lastly, we provide an onsite Chef who cooks nutritious and delicious meals all from scratch.
We Welcome The Chance to Serve You
You will discover our philosophy is deeply grounded in dignity, compassion, innovation and long-term success. We believe the parents and loved ones are an integral part of each patient’s recovery and that it is our duty to provide the tools and education to live a fulfilling life, free from the restrictions of substance abuse.

Inpatient Treatment and Recovery
Understandably, people do not want to be away from family and loved ones, yet it’s amazing to see the transformation a patient undergoes after spending some much-needed time reflecting and learning the skills necessary to continue living a life of recovery. Inpatient rehab programs usually last about three to four weeks depending on the needs of the patient. Upon completion, our team helps you transition to the next phase of your recovery process. We often recommend our patients to continue with an outpatient rehab program as recovering from the disease of addiction is a slow and steady process. With respect to cost, we accept most major insurance providers. Call anytime – 1-888-307-1527.
